...Salty Air at the Bakeshop

I can't stop making Bakeshop quilts!

I have this one up over there today. It comes together surpringly quickly considering the number of pieces that it looks like it has.

And because we are talking about it being constructed from traignale rather than diamonds there are no y seams!.

Please pop on over and have a look!

Beautiful quilt, Kristy! I'll take working with triangles any day over diamonds!

Love your quilt, Kristy! Great for the jelly roll I have and has long been waiting to be used.

I love this quilt and I have a Salt Air jelly roll just waiting to be used! I just need to locate a 60 degree ruler. Is it 8x9.25"?

My ruler is 8" high and each of the sides measure 9" (the one with the blunt end is a little shorter but would be the same if the tip was there)

Mine is a 'Lanterns of Light' ruler but Creative Grids and Marti Mitchell also have 60 degree rulers that look the same size to me.

Hope this helps! I'd love to see your finished version!

Hello! I love this quilt design and have made my own version using your instructions. I didn't have a triangle ruler, so used the 60 degree line on my rule, think if I made it again I would invest in a triangle ruler, as my triangles weren't all the same (which is why I split the diamonds up). I adore it! Thank you so much for sharing your pattern.
